It's a good item, I'd just be careful how you try and put it in, I broke my joystick unit trying to put it in...

6 Pieces Hard Plastic Replacement Analog Stick for Sony Playstation PSP
I purchased a set of JAVOedge replacement sticks for my previously owned PSP that came to me with many signs of tough love from its prior owner. This wasn't the PSP's first replacement stick. It came to me with a blue soft stick that that was convex (bubbled upwards) and very uncomfortable. So, when the stick fell off I was happy to shop for a new one. To my surprise, I found them to be rather cheap. I found that I could get several replacement sticks for under $5. I thought that this was neat, because I have two PSP's, and I know that the original stick on the other will need replaced soon.
Overall, I have been very satisfied with the JAVOedge replacement package that I ordered. The sticks are more raised than the stick that comes with the PSP, which has both benefits and drawbacks during game play. I found that furious playing of games like God of War sent my stick flying across the room sometimes. In contrast, the raised stick was easier to move, and more comfortable for my thumb than the original version or the replacement stick that came with my used PSP. I also like that the pad is concave rather than convex allowing my thumb to be cradled. However, I could do without the raised arrows imprinted into my left thumb. I think that the thought was nice, but most people that play enough to need a replacement stick probably don't need directional assistance.
I think that JAVOedge has made an overall good product that has only a few drawbacks. I looked around for a while before I settled on purchasing these sticks. I think that most gamers have their preferences' and that this was definitely the right choice for me.

I think this is a great product to buy if you lost your analog stick or if it broke. But it has it's ups and downs.
Here is what is good about it.
1)Bigger than the analog stick that came with the PSP allowing better control
2)Doesn't brake the PSP like other analog sticks
3)Doesn't get in the way of the down arrow.
4)comfortable
The bad things about is
1)Doesn't work with most PSP cases
2)The arrows on it are kinda rough
3)Hard to put on.
PS: Get the PSP Swing-Grip Case it protects the PSP and you don't have to take it of (except when changing the game) all the time because the analog stick won't fit in the case you have.

i think this is pretty usefull and i know how to use a case with it
the trick is that you need an intec sony psp ultimate game case, with it you can carry ure games and theres a small space that you can fit the bigger analog stick in when you're not playing, for the case I use the core gamer psp battery sheild 360 with it you can protect your screen when not playing and when you are playing you can flip it back and it'll give you a better grip on the psp.
