i love my wolverine November 25, 2008 SierraGoddess (Santa Cruz, NM United States) I bought this Wolverine data drive three years ago because I was handed a large photo assignment. Thousands of photos, through 3 countries, and a variety of situations. I took a chance and I don't regret my purchase. I had one flash card, and one back up flash card. I used the wolverine to store thousands of photos. (I lost count.) I've deleted and reformatted numerous times. And even though I read that this product is discontinued, I can still call customer support and they will help with questions. The support team at Wolverine is very good and very knowledgeable. They help you through to solution.
simply works as you presumed April 13, 2008 chmod (the West) We recently spent two weeks in Italy, me carting a Canon 1Ds M III and my wife a 10mp point and shoot. This device made it all so simple. My RAW images are ~31mb each so I need space. Each night I transferred the memory card contents to the Wolverine, each time it created a discreet folder. Nothing unusual, just simply brilliant. regards, patrick
Wolverine is excellent January 14, 2008 Jeffry Davis I saved a bundele by backing up to the Wolverine rather than buying lots of SD cards. I would strongly recommend

Wasn't sure if this would support a 1 Gig xD card so sent an email to the firm. Answered within an hour by their customer support (Rico) - yes and they are working on supporting 2 gig. Bought one for Christmas and it is incredibly easy to use - insert card, turn on, push import button. Will be MUCH easier than lugging around a laptop on trips. Worked flawlessly on xD and SD cards from three different cameras - unit just creates a directory for each card it backs up. Comes with a nicely padded case.

I love this thing! Affordable and EASY. I took this on a trip and was a little apprehensive as to whether it would corrupt my files but it worked like a charm. Easy to mount on my Mac and easy to transfer images from my camera. I take hundreds of photos and now I don't have to delete bad photos while on my trip, I can dump EVERY photo to the Wolverine and edit them after I get home. I also really like that the power plug is not HUGE, and the included pouch really protects the drive and has a belt loop! They really thought about the traveller when they designed this thing. A real world photographer must have designed it <-: I love it!
