Small footprint no the desk, modern design, fills the room with sound. I love the volume control console and while I don't use the included remote, my universal remote is programmed to control it and I find the feature a nice plus. You won't be disappointed with the sound.

I've has these speakers for over a month and would buy them again.

This is my second purchase of an Altec Lansing speaker product for the PC. It produces deep rich bass. And clear treble. I really love this system. The only downside is that it does not come with enough instructions on how to adjust the bass and treble. I found that quite confusing and I am a very knowledgeable pc user. It was worth the money spent.
