This product is not the right to buy, this is only 120Gb capacity, and said he had bought which was 500GB, do not buy it!
I guess I got a bad one. August 29, 2010 Gregory M. Cross Now my case works just fine. It was putting the HDD in that sucked. I think it was just a bad one but who ever made is hot glued the board to the wrong side so when i went to slide my drive in the top was about 1/8th of an inch off which is a big deal when ur messing with small parts. I had to reglue it so it would slide in all the way. You get what you pay for.
Just works fine August 28, 2010 Manmohan Das (Detroit, USA) I received this a few days back. Basically theres not much for figuring out installation. The 2 ends are black plastic pieces that come out (snap fit). Once you plug the hard drive put it back in and put the 2 plastic pieces back. Done. Now the screws are useless. I would just use scotch tape to put the black plastic pieces attaached and keep the unit together. Best part, the thing is USB powered so no additional power cords. And for the price, its a steal!
what a bargain August 19, 2010 Joe Strize (Newark, DE) When I saw the price was so low, I was very skeptical, but figured it was worth a shot. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Although there were no instructions with it, I was able to install my drives and transferred over 200 gigs of data, photos, and music from my old broken (defective motherboard) laptop on to my new Mac Book Pro in no time. Very fast transfer rate. Truly a bargain at this price.
Silver Plastic Is Not Aluminum August 11, 2010 Marc 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The case is made from silver colored plastic, NOT aluminum as the item description promises. Very disappointing. Well, you get what you pay for...
