Amazon.com Product Description Thanks to the Panasonic SH-FX50 rear wireless receiver and transmitter, you can eliminate wire connections made from the main unit of your home theater system to the back of the room. Simply add this model to a compatible Panasonic home theater system and you'll be able to form a wireless connection between the main unit and the surround speakers; just set up your wireless receiver at the back of the room and connect your rear surround speakers to it. It provides a stable, reliable wireless connection between the main system and the rear speakers via 2.4 GHz frequency. It delivers plenty of full surround sound with 70 watts per channel from the digital amplifier located in the digital receiver. The SH-FX50 is compatible with Panasonic SC-HT930, SC-HT830V and SC-HT730 home theater systems.

Efficient & Practical June 16, 2008 Enid M. Marrero (Orlando, FL) Love that it functions as it is supposed to and that because there is no wires it is easy to transport, move around, and hide so that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
Great product! June 11, 2008 Jessica Guinn This receiver works extremely well. We have it in our bonus room over our garage, and the sound it emits is awesome. Where we have it placed, we receive no interference, and I couldn't be happier with this product. It's a great price, and I definitely recommend purchasing this receiver.
It works! April 6, 2008 Jaime D. Sotomayor-Pabon (Orlando, FL United States) I can understand why this item was not the biggest seller for Panasonic, most of all since the original price was almost as much as what the DVD player cost, but it does the job. Although the signal is REALLY weak, basically almost line of sight.
Panasonic poops February 16, 2007 Norwegian NERD (Orlando Florida) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Panasonic wireless will drop out with placemant and people walking around the room. Examination of the FCC website (FCC ID ACJSEFX60A) shows that the unit does not use antenna diversity, which is essential for reliable paths at 2.4 GHz. The sound quality is only fair to poor because of the high degree of audio compression neccessary for the limited transmission bandwidth. Interference immunity is poor, the link drops out 10 feet from a microwave oven loaded with one cup of water, the unit does exhibit low idle noise, however Visual/aural latency is not specified. Latency is critical for lip synch, echo effects and stereo imaging. Audio streaming is easy - home theatre is not This is a simple stereo transmission system, the speakers are tethered to a single receiver. It is not a true point to multipoint home theatre solution
Easy set-up January 4, 2007 A. Hammond 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had this set up and working in about 5 minutes. It works great and I have had no problems with it in the four months that I have owned it.
