I originally was in the market for some sort of case to protect the easily scratched screen of my creative vision m. I was unable to tell from the photos that this is the only thing this flexskin doesn't protect. I haven't noticed a bad odor as mentioned in another review. It is nice for what it does. I recommend, however, finding some sort of case to protect the screen, as it will start getting scratched almost immediately.

the plus side of rubber/latex 'skin' type cases is that they stretch to fit the player nice and tight. DOWNSIDES: dust and dirt can get between the case and the player and dull/scratch the gloss finish front of the player. regular use of an armband WILL result in the back tearing (it's super thin and not made to take the yanking of player bouncing around while running/working out). This is priced WAY TOO HIGH, these sell everywhere on ebay for about $5 shipped. The rubber/latex means the player no longer 'slips' into a pants pocket easily but that also means it won't slide around on a moving/shaking surface as easiliy

On my Zen, it prevents the black from getting scratched and definitely fits fine. As a matter of fact, it could be tighter and not have a problem. Now if you plan on going skydiving with your Zen, you might want a more heavy duty cover, but for those of us that generally treat our Zens well, this does the job without being bulky and getting in the way of the beautiful screen.
P.S. Buy a screen protector for 3 bucks and its an unbeatable combo

I E-MAILED CUSTOMER SERVICE ASKING FOR A REPLACEMENT, THEY SAID """ no """

Just received the flex skin and my first thought is that this is way over priced. This is a $5.00 piece of soft plastic that will do very little to protect the unit. It will protect against scratching, but only the areas of the unit you're not really concerned about. The screen is totally exposed, so it can be scratched when in the unit. I'm sure that's so you can see the screen better, but a clear protective cover (that can open and close) over the screen would have been nice. Anyway, at $25.00 this is too much to spend. I'm ordering a leather cover with a kick stand (which by the way you need if you want to stand it up on your desk or on a table) for less than the price of this product. I feel I just flushed $25.00 bucks down the drain, hopefully you will not.
