2G = 2nd generation, not 2 GB December 12, 2008 M. McGeachin (San Antonio, TX United States) I unfortunately thought that this would be compatible with my 1st generation iPod Nano because I thought that 2G indicated how many GB the iPod should have. Whoops. As a result, this doesn't fit my iPod and I'm disappointed in myself for not researching the product more before buying it. So much for the young people being familiar with technological lingo! If you have a 2nd generation iPod Nano, this looks like a great little system--very lightweight and simple to charge and use.
It's JUST awful! December 12, 2008 R. Helder (BOSTON) It doesn't even fit the exact ipod it's designed for. It requires me to shove my ipod into the space provided, worry that I'm breaking it, and then discover that it won't even play music. DEFINITELY not recommended!!
Crummy August 30, 2008 J. Broenen (Southwestern US) This thing is no good. I ordered it twice because the plug for the iPod jack didn't fit. BOTH times the plug didn't fit!! It's cheaply constructed. Booo. Bad. Bad. Bad.
Surprisingly good April 18, 2008 B. DARE (United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this and was somewhat skeptical about the quality of sound because I bought some other IPOD speakers that sounded awful. This is really a good system, surprisingly loud with good fidelity. Batteries last a long time. It stands up by itself and is very portable. I downloaded a lot of Podcasts and was not able to get the time to listen to them on my Mac. I downloaded them and played them on these speakers, so now I am caught up. It does not charge the IPod, however, and does not have an AC jack.
Best Accessory Ever March 3, 2008 Queen of High Maintenance (Dallas, TX USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The portable speaker completes your ipod, to make it perfect. I have enjoyed and utilized the speaker more than I expected. Great quality for your money, batteries are not a problem. You will be pleasantly satisfied with this item.
