Good substitute for the 1st generation DLO case January 6, 2009 Duplexhelix (New York, NY) First and foremost, I would highly recommend this case for the 3rd generation ipod nano. This is the ONLY case on the market that actually covers the entire ipod-including screen and click wheel. I also have a 1st generation nano and the DLO active case worked awesome for it, everything is covered and the nano is still light weight. Unfortunetely, DLO decided to only protect the screen and not the click wheel on the 3rd generation and forced me to look for another case. There is one piece of this case that I think works better then the DLO case and that is the ability to have nothing on the back of the case (i.e clip). This is good if you like to slide your nano in your pants pocket and don't want it to get caught by the clip. However, there are some drawbacks to this case- The material used is very thin and flimsy, I'm not sure how long it will hold up. DLO's case has held up for 3 years now! Another down side to this case is the hole for the hold button. It's made off to the side too much and you really have to cram your finger in to move the nano to hold. Yet again I would highly recommend this case.
Good product December 7, 2008 Timothy P. O'connor The case is very good and keeps the iPod secure. The flap is an issue when charging but the benefit it brings out weighs the charge issue.
Great things! May 17, 2008 Tao Na 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's very convinient for you to put you nano in your pocket, clip on your belt or band around your arm. And the plastic cover is clear and quality is reliable. The only disadvantage, this case is tight and it's not easy to take your nano out or charge it.
Flimsy armstrap; great holder for your Nano May 8, 2008 reachlorenzo (Madison, MS) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bad News: The arm strap is poorly designed; on my very first run, the stitching unraveled completely. The velcro piece was--literally--hanging on by a thread. Good News: The other attachments for the unit are outstanding! The belt clip and hand strap, along with the arm strap, are interchangeable with a neoprene/wetsuit-type case which houses the iPod itself. The housing is not overly snug; the clear front allows easy access and excellent tactile feel for the click-wheel beneath. Overall: I rate this a "Buy".
Nice Case, Bad Clip Plastic May 6, 2008 L. Bodden 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased this case a couple of months ago because it is one of the few 3G Nano armbands that allows for easy access to the dock connector. It fits the nano very well and the armband is comfortable to wear. The major downside to this case is the clip system on the back. It seems to be made out of very flimsy plastic that breaks easily when sliding the supplied armbands on and off. Once this plastic guide is broken, use of the supplied armbands is impossible. This case is great if you just use a single accessory, but it is not recommended otherwise.
