Good Choice January 9, 2009 Wendy 22 (Western Pennsylvania) I bought this for my daughter. She likes it very much. The speakers have a decent sound quality. I have yet to program the alarm clock but I hope it wakes her better than her current alarm. Shipping seemed to take awhile compared to other venders, about 2 weeks, but it arrived before X-mas.
nice on style but short on function December 29, 2008 O.C. Ron (Orange County CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This alarm clock/docking station was to replace the old clock radio I had for over ten years. I liked the feature of waking to music from my iPod. However, after a couple mornings, some obvious design features that were missing have forced me to go back to my old dependable clock radio alarm. Those drawbacks are: 1) not being able to dim the clock (my clock/alarm typically sits just a few feet from my pillow) 2) when I programmed music from my iPod to wake me in the morning, the volume setting at the beginning went from loud to ridiculous in just seconds. I tried turning the volume all the way down on my iPod and the clock, but it still starts out at way too high a setting of volume and goes to the point of distortion very quickly. What's with that? Visually, this is a nice looking clock/radio/iPod docking station but I feel there are better products out there for the same price or a little more money. This one is going back!!
Great Ipod clock and player November 23, 2008 Simon Hall 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Was looking for an alarm clock that could also play my ipod nano. WOrks great. Bright clock and loud alarm. Definitely gets me up in the morning when I hate to go to schoool.
it was a gift for someone August 2, 2008 Carol Daley (Philly) 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
i personally didn't try this myself because i gave it as a gift but the person that has it says it is great. it has great sound and good features.
Not quite up to my standards July 20, 2008 J. Piel (St. Louis, MO) 17 out of 20 found this review helpful
Overall this is a good clock and the speakers are very clear. My iPod Touch fit just fine and it was always charged afterwards. But even with these good things, I must warn people about this items main purpose: this is a poor alarm. The controls are a little confusing but I still managed just fine to set the alarm. My biggest complaint is in the alarm's volume; the alarm starts out soft but it quickly gets louder and louder until it is at an almost deafening volume. This will be good for people who have to get up but I am planning on using this item in college in my dorm but it is way too loud for the close quarters of a dorm room, especially when another person will be in the room. I just want to warn people of this one thing so you don't have to return the clock like I am.
