 Good quality at a low price January 6, 2009
Easily frustrated
My daughter lost her iPod cable and Wal-Mart wanted something like $18 for a replacement. I ordered TWO of these at a lower price (I think the total cost came to around $12 or $13 including shipping) and now I have a spare for the next time she loses it. The quality seems excellent--indistinguihable from the cable that came with the iPod. The order arrived promptly. A great deal.

Love using this cable so that I can adjust the volume directly from my steering wheel buttons without having to play around with finding the best spot for quality...works great.

Dont buy it and they have wrong info in the description that it supports
ipod touch.

Warning - this cable does not work with Ipod Touch. It looks like Apple changed the pin-out sequence of their dock connector for the latest generation of i-touch (this I figured out after much searching of the internet). OK, so this may be an issue created by Apple, but nowhere is the incompatibility acknowledged on the Amazon site or even on the product packaging.
Hope this helps someone else avoid the several hours of frustration that I went through figuring this out...

I bought this because the standard 3.5 mm jack wouldn't work on my itouch without taking the acrylic case off which defeats the purpose of having the case in the first place. It"s a great item for me for that reason. Soundwise it's exactly the same. Just easier to use!
