Product Description
The C.E.O. Fip Vue for iPhone 3G is a sleek, Nappa leather flip-top holster case that provides the perfect compromise between all-around protection and ease-of-access. The perforated leather and contrast stitching on the front flap make this a unique and appealing design. In addition to the front flap protection, the iPhone is cradled securely in place by form-fitting leather that allows access to any iPhone functionality. The stretchable elastic siding helps provide a snug fit. Enjoy your music, or receive calls, while your C.E.O. Flip Vue is open or closed. The headphone minijack, camera, volume buttons, speaker, microphone, and dock connector are all accessible whether flip top is open or closed. The C.E.O. Flip Vue includes the Multidapt system and a low-profile belt clip that is comfortable, convenient, interchangeable, and removable. 5 out of 5 stars Nice Looking & Durable   January 7, 2009
Sam (Shreveport, LA)
I bought this Marware case in July of 2008 and I still have it. It's really a very nice looking case and takes good care of my iphone and is also very durable. With most phone cases I've had or my friends have had they tend to break down over time especially the leather flip cases. At the bend of the leather other cases sometimes even break off, but after having it for 6 months it's still a great case. Oh and the velcro part of it is still going strong too :) Great case....Smart Buy.

3 out of 5 stars Marware, Iphone 3G flip case   January 3, 2009

At first i loved this. It covered the screen, would stand on it's own when the top was flipped all the way over, great look. Now that i have had this since September, the sides have pulled apart and the top is begining to crack, and the velcro that hold the flap down when is place is losing it hold. So, I'm looking for a new one. I will say that i have dropped this with the phone in place and the phone was untouched not a scratch. If i would have rated this after i recieved this it would have been 5 stars, but time tells all.

4 out of 5 stars Just what I was looking for!   December 27, 2008

I've been looking for something like this for a long time and finally found it. The only con I could find was that you need to hold the flap up with one hand while using the camera, otherwise, the flap will block the lens. Besides this minor detail, this product is a very good buy including the price.

4 out of 5 stars Looks nice and is pretty convenient   December 20, 2008

It may seem a little bulky, and when you're talking on it, the flap is kind of annoying, but the case itself is well worth it. Comes with a screen protector as well. Unlike most other cases, this one actually allows you to access all the parts of the iPhone. It definitely does a good job at protecting the phone. However, I'm a little disappointed that the material just began to wear out (I see color changes and even a small tear about to happen) yet I had the case for only 2 months. In the end, though, I feel that it is definitely a great buy.

4 out of 5 stars Good Case, Questionable Life Expectancy Velcro   December 16, 2008
retrodog (Houston/Galveston TX)
First of all, this case is a very good design for all the fitting and cut-outs, along with the overall look. I like it. Functionally, it suffers from the same thing as any flip open case for a device with touch screen operation... it will occasionally get in the way. When operating the iPhone on it's side (horizontal) the front cover part will be annoyingly in the way. Removal of the phone might be necessary to avoid the resulting aggravation.

The belt clip design is nice, as it allows removal and the remaining rear surface of the case it thin, with no protruding attachment mechanism. A nice plus in the design.

The only actual weakness that I've found so far is the closure mechanism. They used velcro. But on the positive side, the hook part of the velcro is recessed into the bottom part and doesn't protrude at all, making it unlikely to ever snag on anything but the intended mating part in the cover. What I see as the weak part (potentially) is the loop part of the velcro on the cover. I've had this case less than 24 hours and it's starting to become fuzzy (loosening) a little bit more than I would have expected. Any statements at this point as to how this will hold up over the next few months would be highly subjective, so I won't attempt to predict it. I would have preferred some magnets like you see in similar cases but I guess the velcro will do for a while.

Protection seems very good for the front, but there's no padding in the sides. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm just pointing it out for the purposes of the review.

All in all, I really like the case. It's reasonably thin and looks nice.
