5 out of 5 stars Perfect for my needs   October 22, 2008
B. MacPherson (New England)
I searched for longer than expected to find a case for my iPod with a belt clip. This product does the job great. The ipod slides in easily and you can access the switch, headphone jack and the connection port with ease. Contrary to other reviews, it is easy to remove if needed, but there is no reason to as you can plug in the connector. The plastic over the wheel seems to work fine (as well as an armband case that I have anyway) but it would be easy to remove if needed. Plus you have the leather flap cover with a magnetic closure to protect it. With the flap cover, I don't have to click that little switch every time to pause or change volume - Nice!.
I wanted a case with a belt clip as I use it in the Gym and working around the house and yard. I find it great for podcasting as you can easily access it and change programs without having to disconnect headphone wires. Looks like a miniature leather billfold. Very Happy!

5 out of 5 stars Altamente recomendado   October 13, 2008

4 out of 5 stars Nice case for the price   April 17, 2008

I agree with most of the other reviews on here. The case is really quite nice, well made quality leather and fits the ipod snugly. Makes a beautiful, classy appearance to the eye. Only complaint is the fact that you have to remove the ipod from the case (which is not an easy task) every time you want to connect it to your computer. I haven't been as daring as everyone else in trying to 'doctor' up the case (by slicing through the leather) and don't think I will try it. I will use it as is.

2 out of 5 stars Fatal flaw   March 14, 2008
Brian D. Madigan (Syracuse, NY USA)
I have the DLO HipCase Folio for the iPod Nano and although it has some good features, it has a fatal flaw in that the back ripped apart after only a couple months of use. Fortunately the clip held, but this shouldn't happen.

I emailed DLO about this problem and received no repsonse.

It is also very difficult to adjust the volume with the click wheel. Half the time I end up changing the selection I am playing.

5 out of 5 stars Great case with alterations   March 10, 2008
William E. Prince (Oxford, AL)
This case is everything I wanted, but with two alterations. Love the leather feel and the magnetic flap. It's great to wrap the earphones around. The belt clip works just the way I wanted it to work, since I clip in to the bib of my work overalls. But there was no opening to plug the big connector to the bottom of the nano and the clear plastic cover over the selector wheel was too much. Nothing an exacto knife couldn't fix, if you get my drift. Love it, now. Perfect for me.
