Bought this for my hubby for Christmas and he loves it. It's a tough protector, but is also sensitive enough to scroll through stuff on the zune. Highly recommend.

I have no complaints about this item. So far, it has allowed my Zune to survive 3 months in Iraq. I have beat my Zune to death and exposed it to violent sandstorms and the Dragon Toughskin has kept it ticking.
I even used the thick plastic square that it came with as a screen shield, although I had to cut it down to size. Eventually, the plastic became too scratched to use but I found something else to replace it in no time.
The buttons and touchpad work just fine with the rubber over it. I can even scroll the touchpad with gloves on. The headphone jack, syncing jack and power/lock switch are all easily accessed.
This is a great product if you are going to be using your Zune in a hazardous environment.

Provides good protection for my zune 120, when carrying around in backpack or just sitting on the desk or table. Good solid rubber, feels solid, looks good. Rubber keeps it from sliding on smooth and diagonal surfaces. Included face protector tricky to apply (like all face protectors - sticky on one side) but covers face. It works fine with direct cable attachments. The case is pretty easy to remove and put on.
Two downsides: Like any good rubber-type protection, it limits some sensitivity, particularly for the controls. Sliding across the pad is trickier and you have to press down with the case on (but not too much or you trigger the tap). Other negative is that with the case on, it won't fit in accessories like the AV unit, since the rubber adds too much depth to the bottom. Given that, I'm surprised the case doesn't have a flap to cover the attachment points, particularly the cable connection, but I don't plan to dunk it in water so that's not a big neg for me.
I'm very happy with the case though, for the intended carrying around and setting beside me on a desk or table when I'm listening. When I want to use the A/V, or play games requiring better control, I just slip off the case.

Since the time I have put the SPECK DRAGON TOUGHSKIN on my ZUNE there have been two serious accidents that I thought would have even tested the DRAGON TOUGHSKIN protection. MAAAAN was I wrong! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE DRAGON TOUGHSKIN, SO MUCH that when my ZUNE fell it began 2 also tumble. I seriously thought from the heigth it had fallen and hit it would no longer operate. BUT like I said THE DRAGON TOUGHSKIN is worth the PURCHASE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Because when you watch your ZUNE take off on its own 4 or 5 feet ahead of you BELIEVE me when I say "Your ZUNE better have some serious PROTECTION! lol" THE Dragon toughskin would be a terrific purchase alongside purchasing the "Coolest" MP3 player out there out of MP players, the ZUNE. ;-D
