it has cool material "not the best" but cool ,i liked it but the only problem i encounter with it : u can't plug the iPod wire well . u have to move the ipod up a lil bit & slip the wire inside the cover & plug it .
other than that it's cool

Major problem: the 26-mm wide case of the dock connector would not fit into the 24-mm wide slot in the bottom of the first case received, so the iPod touch 2G had to be removed from the case for charging and syncing. I-nique apologized and sent another case and told me to keep the first. Same problem with the second case. After several exchanges of emails during which I attached photographic proof I asked that they send a case hand picked from stock but they countered by asking me to return both cases to England for review at their expense. Back comes an email with an attached photo and a note saying, "...you will see we have no problem to insert it inside." Either the connector had been forced into the opening or a tool used to widen the opening to 26 mm. In the process, the case was deformed and the leather cracked in several places... a very crude and non-professional fix by the manufacturer. They apparently expect the purchaser to make this modification but give no warning. And they failed to show the earphone plug inserted which might not have been possible because of the way the case was constructed and deformed.
Another problem was that the cases intruded on the bottom of the iPod screen and interfered with operation of buttons and sliders. I-nique went so far as to suggest that I had a non-standard iPod and connector.
So after almost six weeks of frustration dealing with a company in deep denial, i-nique refunded all but the $9 shipping costs for the two bad cases and left me without a case. My advice: Buy American!

Like most people addicted to the Touch, I just had to have the latest version. :P
To my dismay, they had moved the light-sensor, and I had to buy another case for it, choosing this one.
The odd slot at the top was a bit confusing, until I tried it with my 1st gen Touch, seeing that it actually fits both,
compensating for the fact that things are moved around a bit in the 2nd gen, allowing room for both configurations.
It fits perfectly, and the sync cable works without having to take the device out of the case, which is a big plus, as I tend to move around and misplace things like cases in all the clutter in my office.
I highly recommend this case to anyone in need of a case that fits both first and second gen cases (hopefully 3rd too! *crosses fingers*).
I looks great, and has that high-quality leather smell which compliments that nice new Ipod smell ;).
A previous fellow here said it's for the i-phone, but I've confirmed, using a friends' i-phone, that it does not. The i-phone is wider, longer and thicker than the Touch, so if you want a case for the i-phone, you shouldn't buy this case. It's definitely for the Touch. :)

I was mistaken, it is true that the slot is made to be compatible with the first and second generation ipod touch, and not the iphone.
i-nique has proactively sent me an e-mail offering a refund, and explaining the situation with the elongated hole and with the outdated picture.
As far as the case goes, if the elongated hole doesn't bother you, it is a good case, it is well made and seems very durable. (just like the other cases I have purchased from i-nique)
I am adding stars as a result to this new information, and would recommend i-nique for any case you may need, as they truly are top quality.
(i would also like to point out that the only reason that I am not giving the full 5 stars is simply due to the fact that it was an out dated picture at the time of my purchase, and as such lead me to believe i was ordering something slightly different.)
