Received my order in two days, and the DVD's were exactly as listed. We are forced to use 8X DVD's in an older model recorder and they are hard to find in local stores.

The spindle of DVD's arrived very quickly and were as advertised. However, they were packaged with the inflatable plastic baggies and the baggies had lost a lot of air so that the spindle was rolling around.

This was a first time purchase of Verbatim products for me. I was very pleased with the quality and clarity of the DVD+R recordable disc's.
Over the years have purchased many much more familiar brand names at a much higher price. Nonethess, I would certainly grade the overall quality of the Verbatim as at lease equal to or if not even better than most of the other brands that I have purchased in the past.
I don't often give testimony,however this time it was well deserved.

I have been trying for months to solve the problem of how to record DVDs on a two-year-old DVR that cannot use DVDs over 8X. All the DVDs in the stores are 16X, except for one combo CD/DVD pack that I found, but then that pack didn't work any better than the 16X DVDs I'd tried. Sony's response to the problem was to sell me over-priced small packs of 8X DVDs, but being able to buy a larger quantity and have it work is very encouraging. Now I can stock up and no longer feel that I can't record whatever I want and however much I want.
