Product Description Compared to the original battery that came in your iPod mini, our 600 mAh 3.7-volt Lithium-Ion battery provides 7 to 10 hours of playtime between charges. This is a conservative estimate, as we'd rather under-promise and then over-deliver (that being said, we regularly receive feedback from our customers reporting even longer playtimes). This robust battery is 100 percent compatible with your iPod mini and is guaranteed to last for one full year. Also included is the iOpener, a fantastic tool that opens your iPod mini without scratching it. This durable plastic tool has a sharp, wedge-shaped tip that's perfect for slipping into the tight seam between the white end caps and the metal casing, and has a long handle that allows you to firmly grasp the tool. Other companies suggest using a metal screwdriver (please don't do this!) or saddle you with two cheap, light-blue tools that are so flimsy, the tip bends and quickly becomes worthless. And then what do you do? Only iPodJuiceDotCom has the iOpener to efficiently open your device. Also included is a set of mini screwdrivers to remove two small screws and a metal clip from inside the player. This kit also includes a set of the most detailed instructions available today. Our printed instructions include professionally-taken, color photographs with detailed text that walk you step-by-step through the battery replacement process. Other companies have you go it alone or give a black-and-white photocopy with fuzzy photos that fail to point out areas where additional caution is needed.

An acceptable replacement November 29, 2008 Katuyci (Duluth, USA) I own a iPod mini first generation revision 1626. I purchase this battery to replace my old one at the same time I changed the micro drive to a compact flash card. Previous tests: http://geektechnique.org/projectlab/764/battery-life-on-the-flash-based-ipod-minis stated that I should have 2 to 3x more lifetime (the original battery only gave me 4h of music). However, at this time, I would say that it takes 6 to 7h to drain out (in suffle mode). It should be stressed that the battery that come was a 850mAh rather then a 750mAh. However I still keep my suspicions were it is really true... I keep thinking that I should have more lifetime now with a CF card and a "850mAh" battery, at least 10h!!! Despite those facts, the battery fits very well on the iPod, is easy to install (after you open the iPod - tip: search on youtube how to open it). I have it for 3months and it is still reliable. With a price as accessible as it is suspicious, but still you don't have nothing to lose.
Very Easy To Do November 20, 2008 Philip V. Delia III (Rochester Hills, MI) I replaced two iPod batteries using these kits. One was for an iPod mini and the other was for an iPod 30GB Video. The mini was a little bit easier to replace but both took me less than 15 minutes to replace each. All I did was search for videos online on how to do it and followed the directions. It was worth not paying the $60 to have apple replace the battery. Both iPods are working like new.
Do not waste your money. November 8, 2008 jayhawk in tx (tx usa) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ultimately you will ruin your ipod by taking it apart with their tools. battery will work but the controls will not!! You pay your money, you take your chance!!
Easy fix October 24, 2008 Nhat H. Ta (Tacoma, WA) Wow save yourself a load of cash and buy this replacement battery. Works great!
It worked but the installation instruction was challenging September 9, 2008 Van L. (California) I brought this battery for my iPod mini. After I opened it, I found the installation instruction was for the iPod Classic. Undeterred, I went to cnet.com and found a 3-part videos on how to replace the battery on a iPod mini. For me, I prefer video over little text any day of the week. The videos were great, still it was difficult to replace (be very patience and little coaching help), and eventually got it working nicely. So, 4 stars for me.
