Completely disapointed November 29, 2008 Tomas Hernandez (Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo Dominican Republic) With a few weeks of little use now it has lots of scratches. The hole for the audio plug is too little. I have three different headsets and only one would fit. Same happens when I try to plug in my Creative speakers. You can't record audio because the microphone is almost covered with the plastic. It looks very nice in the box but is useless.
Plastic case November 29, 2008 Rene C. Peralta (Sunny Southern California) This is an excellent item that protects my Zen player from bumps, nicks, scratches & falls. Heavy duty clear plastic has protected my mp3 player many time over & is surely worth the investment... Highly recommended!!
Zen Hard Plastic Case November 23, 2008 Jon D. Philbrick (USA) Good overall product. I mainly got it for protection, and it does that well. The opening cover was a little hard to figure out since there were no instuctions, but I finally was able to push it to open the back. The idea of the "O" ring is a good idea, and can be taken off if not needed. The plastic is thick enough to protect the screen well, and the function keys are still accessible.
Not for x-fi November 10, 2008 S. Shelton (Salt Lake City, Utah USA) This little case is very nice. I liked the ring that would allow me to hook the device to a belt, etc. However, I bought it to fit my Creative Zen x-fi and the case was too small. I was disappointed because it was just what I had been looking for. It seems the manufacturer has not made the same kind of case to fit the x-fi. Nice product for Creative Zen, but TOO SMALL FOR X-FI.
Does what it says. November 2, 2008 Harper 20 (New England, USA) A good, solid case. It is a little difficult to put on at first, but gets easier every time you do it. One of the cons, already mentioned, is that the screen on the case scratches easily. I guess scratches on a $20 case are better than a $200 player. Also as already mentioned, the little "leather" strip is a bit fragile looking, but hasn't failed on me yet. I do not have the oil spot on the screen, and the details and colors are transmitter accurately. Some cons I haven't seen are that the case covers the SD slot and the microphone, so you have to remove the case to get at either of these functions. I unwisely opened the case in the presence of sawdust and could not get all of it off of the inside of the case. Nevertheless, it handled a four foot drop onto a concrete floor (accident) perfectly without harm.
