 Nice and powerful transmitter August 9, 2008

I am using this transmitter from last 3 months , I like the fact it is tiny, sturdy and transmits powerful signal.
Pros:
1. NO wires to deal with, sturdy and comes with various adapters.
2. Pauses ipod when car is turned off, so that you can continue music with headphones on go.
3. Pro option(for Mono) really boosts the signal and is good for listening audio books.
Cons:
1. No 3.5mm input to connect other MP3 player.
2. TuneFM doesn't work properly, it scan same local stations where reception is not clear.
3. Price is too high.
Overall, I recommand this just as a regular FM transmitter since clearscan is useless.

At least with the factory FM receiver in my Honda Accord, the Tunebase FM transmitter is too weak to get clear sound from my iPod. There is noise and sound fades out even with the highest "pro" setting on the Tunebase. Too bad, as being able to play the IPod in the car would have been really nice on a long trip
