sarah brightman live from las vegas October 4, 2008 David Dwyer the sarah brightman dvd was very good. also the service was also very good. thank you very much.
Great production! August 4, 2008 Dean Bielanowski (Brisbane, Queensland Australia) I first saw this concert on Cable TV and was quite captured by it. I ordered the DVD and have since viewed it many times. Now, I was never a fan of Sarah Brightman but I am now converted. This is a great show which is well put together and performed. And Sarah's voice is simply amazing. My eight year old daughter also loves it!
A Entertaining Ride May 12, 2008 Balletbabe This concert was very fun and entertaining. I never got bored. It is very colorful and full of excitment. The second disc was filled with bonus material and a quiz. The concert has 23 songs which are in order: 1). Kama Sutra 2). Harem 3). Beautiful 4). It's a Beautiful Day 5). Dust in the Wind 6). Who Wants to Live Forever 7). Anytime, Anywhere Interlude 8). Anytime, Anywhere 9). Nella Fantasia 10). Stranger In Paradise 11). La Luna 12). Nessun Dorma 13). No One Like You 14). Arabian Nights 15). The War Is Over 16). Free 17). What A Wonderful World 18). A Whiter Shade of Pale 19). Phantom of the Opera Suite 20). Whishing You Were Somehow Here Again 21). Time to Say Goodbye 22). The Journey Home 23). A Question of Honour My personal favorite was "What A Wonderful World", because it was very pretty and fun to watch with Sarah on the swing and roses falling from the cieling. I highly recommend this video.
If you want to see the best of performances, this is it! February 13, 2008 Larry A. Hoffman For those of you who have seen many performances live or by DVD, this is the one to see. The production, choreography and vocals are out of this world.
Great DVD of Sarah Brightman! February 12, 2008 R. Larson (Fort Collins, CO USA) I noticed several other reviews discussing the poor video quality of the DVD, but I didn't notice it on my DVD. The lighting effects sometimes make the video look distorted. I thought the video was well done, although there are a lot of distant shots of the show as menitoned by others, there are lots of close-ups also. I like to see the audience reaction, so the distant shots were timely. I always like to sit further back at the Las Vegas shows myself to see it all. Since two different stages are used, I can see why the director used the distant shots. The show and video were well choreographed and as always, Sarah shines with the spectacular stunts (swinging in the air) and her singing talents! They're not truly stunts, but they sure seem like it. One thing for sure, the audio engineer did a fantastic job. And last, her various songs are tops! She is one of the few sopranos who has a three octave range, besides being a popular crossover artist and quite the vivid and stunning performer, and also co-produces her own shows. I highly recommend the DVD. A bonus DVD gives takes on the pre-show and interviews by Sarah and her producer and director.
