Not bad for a back up phone. February 29, 2008 Derek Terry (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This phone is pretty cool if you want a cool little phone to carry with a MP3 player. After you format the memory you have to load your music in the MP3 file located in the phones menu.If you don't relocate your music into this file, your music will not play. Not bad for the money,I've seen worse for more.
Mp3 player? That's a stretch. January 5, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Took a chance despite the lack of consumer reports on this product. Heh. Well, it's a nice phone for the money. Cute. Keep looking if you want a useful Mp3 player. You'll have to convert all your songs to UTF-8 before the phone will recognize the mp3s on its 128mb flash chip. Manual offered no help. No software included. Alcatel-Lucent's very impressive corporate web site lacks ANY consumer friendly information. Makes me feel all warm and tingly. Thanks guys, for showing that you really care. Still looking for a media player that will handle the unicode tagging but after spending four hours on this I'm done. [ASIN:B000UUB9K0 Alcatel E801A-5AALUS1 E801a MP3 Player Phone]
